PARKLAND garden at Stubbings House, Maidenhead, open under the National Garden Scheme.

Set around the 18th-century house which was home to Queen Wilhelmina of Netherlands in World War II, the garden boasts a large lawn with ha-ha and woodland walks, historic cedars and an abundance of daffodils.

Attractions include an 18th-century icehouse and access to adjacent National Trust woodland. Cafe open for refreshments. £3.50 for adults, children free.
