Buckinghamshire Railway Centre is holding its annual spring gala – with visiting loco Hudswell Clarke no.750 Waleswood coming from Chasewater Railway after her full restoration completed last year.
Waleswood and sister engine Millom are the only standard gauge 0-4-0 Hudswell Clarke engines in operation in the world today which is why it is so important for the two of them to be brought to run together. A unique opportunity to see the pair double-heading.
Steam train rides all weekend, with a big red double decker vintage shuttle bus from Aylesbury Vale Parkway to Quainton Road (and back again). Bus times to coincide with trains from/to Marylebone. Available Sunday and Monday.
